Capital Health Partners with CBS to Meet New DOH Clinical Costing Standards

During our recent UAE visit, CBS – Health Costing Experts met with Capital Health in Abu Dhabi to plan the implementation of CostPro, CBS’s flagship patient-level costing solution. The partnership comes in response to the Department of Health Abu Dhabi’s (DOH) new Clinical Costing Standards and Guidelines, which now set a clear expectation for providers across the emirate.

Capital Health is one of a growing number of healthcare organisations to engage CBS for support in navigating these new regulatory requirements - and for good reason. CostPro has earned a reputation as a “world-class costing system”, built to handle the complexities of healthcare finance with speed, precision, and insight.

With automated overnight data loads, CostPro allows costing analysts to spend less time wrangling with data and more time interpreting it - producing regular, up-to-date costing and easily highlighting any irregularities. It not only meets compliance standards but also improves internal decision-making and financial transparency.

Equally important is CBS’s collaborative approach. “We’re not a drop-and-run vendor,” said CBS CEO Ross Wilson. “Our clients continue to benefit from the experience and expertise of our team long after the system is live. That ongoing partnership is what sets us apart.”

The meeting with Capital Health signals another strong step toward ensuring Abu Dhabi’s healthcare providers are both compliant and competitive, equipped with the tools and support they need to thrive under the new DOH framework.

Capital Health, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, is a private integrated healthcare group that operates two healthcare facilities in the UAE: Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH) - a specialty hospital that provides acute and long-term rehabilitation care, along with inpatient, outpatient and Home Health capabilities; and Health Shield Medical Center - a multi-specialty healthcare facility with outpatient (one-day surgery) capabilities.
