Business Intelligence Source
Our business intelligence repository pulls together relevant information from all the key systems in the hospital (patient management, labs, radiology, outpatient clinics, payrol, finance, ...) and using business rules that you help define, combines them together into episodes and activity. Costing Engine
Our activity based costing system allows your organisation to determine the fully absorbed cost of patient activity. KPI Manager

CostPro Plus includes a rules based billing module which scans the activity in the Business Intelligence Source and, using the rules that match the contracts the organisation has signed, matches the activity to the contract. Unmatched activity is flagged for investigation, either to change the rules to match it correctly, correct the data so it is matched, or identify it as activity that is not being funded.

If the organisation is considering agreeing to perform an additional 1000 hip operations, what is the impact on the organisation? What activities are generated by a hip operation? Understanding the impact of these change can be forecast by mining the historical data and then applying those averages to the new volumes for next year. This allows decisions to be made on the basis of fact rather than simply gut feel.
